L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3408] NEW DELH I, WEDNES DAY, AUGUST 9, 2023/ SHRAVANA 18, 1945 CG-RJ-E-09082023-247977 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Ra ilway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 8th August, 2023 S.O. 3562(E). —Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organisation), Notification number, S.O. 38 07 (E) dated the 29th July, 2022 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 16th August, 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railwa ys (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, managem ent and operation of Special Railway Project, namely special railway project of "Taranga Hill - Abu Road via Ambaji New BG Line (116.654 Km)" in District Mahsana in the state of Gujarat. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Divya Bhaskar” and “Sandesh” Dated 28 August -2022 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, out of 03 (Three) villages’ survey numbers mentioned in the schedule annexed with this notification, 96 numbers o f objections were received within the stipulated time periodby Competent Authority and accordingly, the Same was disposed by competent authority. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has subm itted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that th e land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government herby declares that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
