L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-RJ-E-08072026-274275 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3530] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2026/ASHADHA 17, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 7th July, 2026 S.O. 3692(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organization), Notification number, S.O. 5279 (E) dated 18th November, 2025 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 19th November, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of "Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Doubling Railway Project (Special Rail Project) of the District Vav Tharad in the state of Gujarat. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “ Sandesh, Divya Bhaskar, Gujrat Samachar " and "Times Of India" dated 28th Nov. 2025 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections have been received by the competent authority within the stipulated time period regarding the surveys of the villages mentioned in the schedule attached to this notification. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government herby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
