L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-RJ-E-08052024-254102 No. 1838] EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2024/VAISAKHA 17, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 6th May, 2024 S.O. 1931(E). - Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organisation), Notification number, S.O. 349 (E) dated the 30th January, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 31th January, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely special railway project of "Taranga Hill - Abu Road via Ambaji New BG Line (116.654 Km)" in District Mehsana in the state of Gujarat. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely "Divya Bhaskar", "Gujarat Samachar” and “Sandesh" Dated 08 February-2024 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, out of 01 (One) villages' survey numbers mentioned in the schedule annexed with this notification, NIL objections was received within the stipulated time periodby Competent Authority and accordingly, the Same was disposed by competent authority. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government herby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
