L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-RJ-E-07022025-260808 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 627] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2025/MAGHA 17, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 6th February, 2025 S.O. 631(E).-Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railway (North Western Railway Construction), S.O. 5100(E) dated 11 November, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), under sub section (i) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely “Churu-Sadulpur (57.82 km) Doubling project" in District Churu in the state of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification were published in daily local newspapers "Rajasthan Patrika" and "Danik Bhaskar" dated 03 December, 2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said act; And whereas, the competent authority has disallowed the objections after hearing under sub section (2) of the section 20D of the act. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub section (1) of section 20E of the said act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, Further in pursuance of sub section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, that land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
