NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, the 25th February, 2025
S.O. 987(E).-Whereas by the notification of the Government of india, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board), number S.O. 5472(E) dated 17 December, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-
3, Sub section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), under sub section (i) of section 20A of the Railway
Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the
Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Special Railway Project, namely Churu-
Sadulpur (57.82km) Doubling project in District Churu in the state of Rajasthan.
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification were published in daily local newspapers “Rajasthan
Patrika" and "Danik Bhasker" dated 21 December, 2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said act;
And, whereas, objection was received by the Competent Authority within due time, it has been resolved by the
Competent Authority and, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent
Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands
specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed here
to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances
