L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4451] NEW DELHI, MON DAY , OCTOBER 23, 2023/ KARTIKA 1, 1945 CG-MH-E-25102023-249663 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 22nd October , 2023 S.O. 4630(E).—In exercise of the powers con ferred by s ub-section(I) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred in as the said act), the Central Government after being satisfied that f or the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has given in the s chedule ann exed hereto, is required for execution of the Special Railway Project, namely, Anand -Godhra doubling Project in District Kheda in the State of Gujarat, hereby de clares its intention to acquired such land; Any person interested in the said lan d may, wit hin a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub -section(I) of section 20D of the said Act; Every such objec tion shall be made to the competent a uthority, namely, Prant Officer Thasra, at Prant office, Thasra District Kheda, in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being hear d, either in person or by legal practitioner and may. After hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the compete nt authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the o bjections; Any order made by the co mpetent au thority under sub -section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be final; The land plans and other details of the land covered und er this notification are available and can be inspected by the interest ed person at the aforesaid office of the compet ent authority.
