NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 20th January, 2025
S.O. 374(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorize the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as
"Competent Authority" to perform the functions as such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette in respect of the special railway project “Babupeth-Sasti New
Rail line" (13.114 Kms)” District Chandrapur in the state of Madhya Pradesh Mentioned in Column of the said
table for the public purpose of execution maintenance, Managementand operation of such special Railway Project.
