The Ministry of Railways (Central Railway) issued Notification S.O. 3649(E) on August 4, 2025, in Mumbai. In exercise of powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), as amended by the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008, the Central Government has authorized the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bhusaval Division, Bhusaval, to serve as the "Competent Authority". This authority is granted for the special railway project titled "Bhusaval-Badnera-Wardha 3rd & 4th Line," spanning 313 Kms, for public purposes including execution, maintenance, management, and operation. The authorization applies to areas within Bhusaval Taluka (including villages Sakari, Fulgaon, Jatgaon, Varangaon, Susari, Talvel, Achegaon, Pimpalgaon BK, Fekari, and Nimbore BK) and Bodwad Taluka (including villages Junone Digar, Kolhadi, Nadgaon, Nandgaon, Nimkhede, Palaskhede Khurd, Salsingi, Sonoti, and Varkhede Khurd) in Jalgaon District. This authorization takes effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
