NOTIFICATION
Faridabad, the 20th May, 2026
F. No. A/4/2026.—Administration: In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 6.3 of the Rules &
Regulations of National Institute of Financial Management Society, and in supersession of the Ministry of
Finance, Department of Expenditure (Director, NIFM) Recruitment Rules, 2000 as amended from time to
time, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government
hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Director, Arun Jaitley
National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) namely:—
1. SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT:
1. These rules may be called Director, AJNIFM Recruitment Rules, 2025.
2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of Posts and scale of pay:The number of the said post, and New Pay Matrix Level attached
thereto shall be as specified in columns 2 and 3 of the said schedule.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit, other qualifications, etc.:
The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post be as specified
in columns 4 to 13 of the above said schedule.
4. Disqualification:-No Person—
a. Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living,
or
b. who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal
law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing,
exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax:-Where the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it
may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to
any class or category of persons.

Deputation / Re-employment / Short-term contract | Officers belonging to Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Cost Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian P & T Accounts and Finance Service and Indian Railways Accounts Service with one year regular service in HAG Grade or with 4 (four) years regular service in SAG. Re-employment would be permissible up to 65 years of age or for a period of 5 years, whichever is earlier. For deputation, age shall not exceed 58 (fifty eight) years on the closing date of receipt of application. (Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization shall ordinarily not exceed five years). | Selection Committee: 1.
