Publication of notification regarding appointment of Shri Puneet Agarwal as a part time Member in the Board of Inland Waterways Authority of India

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways issued Notification F. No. A/1/2017-IWT dated 30 September 2024, exercising powers under sub-section 3(d) of section 3 of the Inland Waterways Authority of India Act, 1985 (82 of 1985). The Central Government appointed Shri Puneet Agarwal, Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser (AS & FA), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (additional charge), as a part-time Member of the Board of the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), replacing Mrs. Richa Misra, Joint Secretary and Financial Adviser (JS & FA), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The appointment takes immediate effect and continues until further orders. The notification was signed by R. Lakshmanan, Joint Secretary, and published in the Gazette of India, Part I, Section 2 (No. 34), dated 30 September 2024.
