Notification S.O. 3481(E), also under section 11 of the same Act, amends notification S.O 3140 (E), dated 8th July, 2022, by omitting the Khedi - Ashapur Section of New NH-347B (Km 0 to Km 127, total length 127 Km) in the State of Madhya Pradesh from its Table. Notification S.O. 3482(E), pursuant to section 11 of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988, entrusts the Kheri-Ashapur-Rudhy-Surgaon Nipani (Khandwa Bypass)-Deshgaon-Khargon-Julwania Section of National Highway 347B, spanning from Km 0.000 to Km 286.330, to the National Highways Authority of India. Finally, notification S.O. 3483(E), exercising powers under section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), further amends notification S.O 1096(E), dated 4th August, 2005 (issued by the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways), by substituting serial number 13 in its Schedule. This amendment directs that the State Government of Madhya Pradesh shall exercise functions related to works on numerous specified National Highways and their designated sections, including NH 7, 12, 12A, 26A, 27, 59, 69, 75, 76, 78, 92, 339B, 45 extn., 56, 135C, 347A, 347C, 548C, 552 Extn., 346, 752B, 752C, 752G, 543, 146B, 347B, 43 Extn., 135B, and 943, within the State of Madhya Pradesh, subject to compliance with the Act's rules. The principal notification S.O.1096 (E) was last amended by S.O. 3376 (E) and 3377(E), dated 23rd July, 2025.
