In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O.1101 (E) dated the 17th July, 2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), dated the 17th July, 2006 and Amendment Gazette No.S.O.2044(E) dated the 30th November, 2006 namely : In the said notification S.O. No. 2044(E) dated the 30th November, 2006 corrigendum as follows: [a] for the words “Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition), National Highways, Tiruchirappalli", the words "The Special District Revenue officer (Land Acquisition), National Highways, Thanjavur" shall be substituted.
