The Bureau of Indian Standards (Department of Consumer Affairs), through a notification dated 3rd November, 2025 (Ref: HQ-PUB015/1/2020-PUB-BIS(1370)), has established amendments to Indian standards. This action is taken in pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018. The amendments were established on 30 October 2025. Specifically, Amendment No. 1 (October 2025) has been made to IS 14231 (Part 9) : 2002, which covers IEC 60728-9 (2000) Cabled Distribution Systems for Television and Sound Signals Part 9 Interfaces of Cabled Distribution Systems for Digitally Modulated Signals. Similarly, Amendment No. 1 (October 2025) has been made to IS/ISO/IEC 18014-2: 2021, titled Information Security — Time-Stamping Services Part 2 Mechanisms Producing Independent Tokens (First Revision). For both amended standards, the original standard without the amendment will remain in force until 29 April 2026.
