Dated 28 June 2024, S.O. 2498(E), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, F. No. 12037/56/2016-KNT(P-6)/3D, references prior notification 2855(E) dated 30.06.2023 declaring intent under section 3A(1) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) to acquire land for building/widening/four-laning, maintenance, management and operation of NH150A between Design Ch. 485+240 (existing Km 494.000) and Design Ch. 523+393 (existing Km 533.152), and Design Ch. 530+393 (existing Km 540.175) to Design Ch. 534+476 (existing Km 544.200), the K B Cross to Chunchanahalli section, in Mandya district, Karnataka, the substance of which was published in "Vijaya Karnataka" and "Deccan Herald" on 29 July 2023 under section 3A(3); objections filed under section 3C were considered and settled, and the Competent Authority's report was submitted under section 3D(1); the Central Government now declares, under section 3D(1), that the land specified in the schedule shall be acquired, and under section 3D(2), that on publication it vests absolutely in the Central Government free of encumbrances; the schedule lists affected land parcels in Nagamangala Taluk, including villages Chunchanahalli, Thavarekere, Karijeeranahalli and Karabylu, with survey/plot numbers, land type (private, dry/agricultural), areas in hectares, and named owners; signed by Abhay Jain, Deputy Secretary.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th June, 2024

S.O. 2498(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways, 2855(E) Dated:30/06/2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule
annexed to the said notification for building(widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four laning etc.,), maintenance,
management and operation of NH150A in the stretch of land from Km. Design Ch. 485+240 Km (Existing Km
494.000) to Design Ch. 523+393 Km (Existing km 533.152) & From Design Ch. 530+393 (Existing Km 540.175) to
Design Ch.534+476 (Existing Km 544.200 (K B Cross to Chunchanahalli Section) in the district of MANDYA in the
state of KARNATAKA;

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Vijaya Karnataka” and “Deccan
Herald" both dated 29th July 2023; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;

And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and
settled the same appropriately;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
