L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 735] NEW DELHI, WEDNES DAY , DEC EMBER 27, 2023/ PAUSHA 6, 1945 CG-DL-E-28122023-250933 MINI STRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th December, 2023 G.S.R. 91 9(E).—The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of t he powers conferred by Section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 ( 59 of 1988) is he reby published as required by sub -section (1) of Section 212 of the said Act for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of 30 days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in the Gazette of India, are made available to the public. The objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period aforesaid will be considered by the Central Government; Objections and suggestions to these draft rules, if any, may be sent to the Additional Secretary (MVL), email: comments [email protected], Ministry of Road Transport and High ways, Transport Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi -110 001. DRAFT RULES 1. Short title and commencement. - (1)These rules may be called as the Central Motor Vehicles (……Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their final pub lication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, in rule 138, in sub -rule (4), in clause (d), after the words and letters “Centrimide B.P. in a non -greasy base,”, the words and figure “a tube of Feracrylum of 1% gel ” shall be inserted.
