Anil Nathuram Sawant, Deputy Collector (Retired), authorized by the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas vide Notification S.O.3719 (E) dated 4th August, 2022, under Section 2(a) of the Petroleum & Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), and in pursuance of powers conferred by Explanation 1 below sub-rule (1) of Rule 4 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Lands) Rules, 1963, has declared the dates of Termination of Operations for the Ethane Pipeline project. This declaration, made in consultation with M/s Reliance Ethane Pipeline Limited (REPL), applies to various villages within the Karjat Mandal/Tehsil/Taluk of Raigad District in the State of Maharashtra, where REPL has the Right of User in the land and ownership of the pipeline. The schedule annexed to S.O. 5490(E) dated 28th November, 2025, lists 27 villages including Nikop, Mohili, Avasare, Birdole, Kondiwale, Dahiwali, Vanjarpada, Talavade Khurd, Pimploli Budruk, Vakas, Nasrapur, Salvad, Ganegaon Chincholi, Kadav, Markewadi, Wadwali, Bhatgaon, Vavloli, Bendase, Koshane, Sawargaon, Wanjle, Devulwadi, Haliwali, Bhisegaon, Nagurle, and Tighar. For each village, specific S.O. numbers and dates of notifications issued under sub-section (1) & (4) of Section 6 of the 1962 Act are cited, along with the corresponding declared date of termination of operation, which range from 31st March, 2018, to 25th July, 2024.
