(1) (2) (3) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 28th June, 2023 S.O. 2798(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relatio n to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of In dia in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely: - In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - TABLE (1) (2) (3) “5 So much of National Highways No. 6 [excluding from Km. 307.600 to Km. 405.000 (Raipur -Nagpur Section) and from Km. 88.000 to Km. 281.000 (Raipur - Aurang)], No. 12A [Excluding from km. 246.849 to km. 317.406 (Kawardha - Simga Section)], No. 16, No. 43 [Excluding from Km. 10.200 to Km. 82.209 (Raipur -Kodebod -Dhamtari Section), Km. 81.500 to km. 130.00 and from km. 180.00 to km. 298.00 (Dhamtari –Kanker -Bedma -Dahi kona -Jagdalpur Section)], No. 78, No. 200 [excluding from Km. 0.000 to Km. 127.650 (Raipur -Bilaspur Section)], No. 202, No. 216, No. 217, No. 221, new NH No. 130A, new NH No. 130B, new NH No. 130C, new NH No. 130D, new NH No. 163A, new NH No. 343, new NH N o. 930 and new NH No. 45 Extended as are situated within the State of Chhattisgarh.
