Detailed Summary

The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section 1 of Section 3 of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, and in supersession of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways Notification G.S.R. No. 839 (E) dated 15th November, 2023, hereby appoints Dr. A. Kowsigan, IAS, Special Secretary, Ports Department, Government of Kerala. Dr. Kowsigan is appointed in place of Shri K.S. Srinivas, IAS, Principal Secretary, Ports Department, Government of Kerala, to serve as a representative of the State Government on the Board of Cochin Port Authority under section 3(1)(c)(i) of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. This appointment is effective immediately and until further orders. The notification is issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping AND Waterways (PHRD Division) on 28th May, 2025, under G.S.R. 344(E) and File Number LB-11013/1/2021-Labour-Part (2), signed by SANDEEP GUPTA, Jt. Secy.
