NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th February, 2025
G.S.R. 155(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of session 435D read with section
435E of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958), the Central Government, hereby makes the following
amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Shipping, dated the 2th September,
2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.543 (E),
dated the 2nd September, 2020, namely:-
In the said notification, after the Table and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted,
namely:-
"2. In the case of Central Government owned fishing vessels operating beyond territorial waters, the Central
Government hereby declares the ports or places of registry specified in column (2) of the Table below, for the
purposes of section 435D of the said Act and appoints the officers specified in the corresponding entry in
column (3) of the said Table, to be registrars of Indian fishing vessels for the purposes of section 435E of the
said Act, namely:-
