L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4491] NEW DELHI, THURS DAY , OCTOBER 26, 2023/ KARTIKA 4, 1945 CG-DL-E-27102023-249720 1 2 3 4 5 6 845/1071 698/834 799/833 [फा. सं. 17001/1/2018/PIU -Brly/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AN D HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2 6th October, 2023 S.O. 46 78(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Roa d Transport and Highways, 2505 Dated:07/06/2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub - section (ii) issued und er sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as t he said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for buil ding (widening/four -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH731 in the stretch of land from Km. 119.312 to Km. 229.07 (SLAO Hardoi) in the district of HARDOI in the state of UTTAR PRADESH And whereas the substance of the said notificatio n has been published in "Amar Ujala" (Hindi)and"Hindustan Times" (English) both dated 18.06.2023; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the compet ent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exerc ise of the power s conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Go vernment, free from all encumbrances.
