In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 109 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of Government of India, number S.O. 2747(E) dated 29th May, 2026, namely:- 2. In the said notification, following items and entries shall be substituted: (i) In the Table against serial number 28A and entries relating thereto, in column (4), the items and entries "1st April, 2027" shall be substituted with "For new models: 01st April, 2027 & For existing models: 01st October, 2027". (ii) In the Table against serial number 31, in item number (d) and entries relating thereto, in column (4), the items and entries "1st April, 2027" shall be substituted with "For new models: 01st April, 2027 & For existing models: 01st October, 2027".
