The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, exercising powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), issued notification S.O. 2333(E) on 26th May, 2025. This notification makes an amendment to the Government of India notification number S.O. 1717 (E) Dated 13/04/2023, which was published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II, Section 3 Sub-section (ii). The amendment involves the schedule under Taluka Purulia-II. In Column 7 (Name of the village) of this schedule, the village Ghongha (JL. No. 27) is added at Sr. No. 23. Concurrently, the same village (Ghongha, JL. No. 27) that was previously notified at Sr. No. 15 against Taluka Purulia-I is deleted. The notification is signed by SHAIKH AMINKHAN, Director, and references F. No. NI/2023/60901.

In other words: In Column 7 ( Name of the village) of the schedule under Taluka Purulia-II an additional village Ghongha (JL. No. 27) is added at Sr. No. 23 and the same village (Ghongha, JL.
