                Detailed Summary
            

            
S.O. 1804(E), issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on 26 April 2024, declares under sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3D of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) that the land described in the annexed Schedule is acquired and vests absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances, upon publication. This follows the earlier notification S.O. 2635(E) dated 14 June 2023, issued under section 3A(1), which declared the Central Government's intention to acquire land for construction, management and operation of NH-130C from Km 0.000 to Km 17.400 in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh; the substance of that notification was published in "Haribhoomi" and "Navbharat" on 4 and 5 July 2023 under section 3A(3), objections filed under section 3-C were considered and settled, and the competent authority submitted its report under section 3D(1). NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th April, 2024

S.O. 1804(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways 2635(E) Dated:14/06/2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule
annexed to the said notification for construction of Road, management and operation of NH-130C in the stretch of
land from Km.0.000 to Km. 17.400 in the District of Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh.

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Haribhoomi" and "Navbharat” both
dated 04.07.2023 and 05.07.2023; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;

And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled
the same appropriately;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
