New Delhi, the 27th March, 2025
G.S.R. 204(E).—In pursuance of rule 2 of the Members of Parliament (Constituency Allowance) Rules, 1986
read with clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of Parliament
Act, 1954 (30 of 1954), the Joint Committee, after consultation with the Central Government, hereby notifies the
increase in the Constituency Allowance for Members of Parliament with effect from the 1st April, 2023 on the basis of
Cost Inflation Index provided under clause (v) of Explanation to section 48 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961),
as under :-

G.S.R. 205(E).— In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Members of Parliament (Office Expense
Allowance) Rules, 1988 read with clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Salary, Allowances and Pension of
Members of Parliament Act, 1954 (30 of 1954), the Joint Committee, after consultation with the Central Government,
hereby notifies the increase in the Office Expense Allowance for Members of Parliament with effect from the 1st April,
2023 on the basis of Cost Inflation Index provided under clause (v) of Explanation to section 48 of the Income-tax Act,
1961 (43 of 1961), with effect from the 1st April, 2023, as under:-

G.S.R. 206(E). — In pursuance of first proviso to sub-rule (3) of rule 2 of the Housing and Telephone Facilities
(Members of Parliament) Rules, 1956, read with clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Salary, Allowances and
Pension of Members of Parliament Act, 1954 (30 of 1954), the Joint Committee, after consultation with the Central
Government, hereby notifies the increase in the Monetary Ceiling for Furniture for Members of Parliament with effect
from the 1st April, 2023 on the basis of Cost Inflation Index provided under clause (v) of Explanation to section 48 of the
Income-tax Act, 1961(43 of 1961), as under:-
