The appointed Arbitrator is authorized to exercise the powers and perform the duties assigned to an Arbitrator under the aforementioned Act, within the defined local limits of their jurisdiction. Furthermore, it is mandated that sub-sections (6) and (7) of Section 3G of the National Highways Act, 1956 must be duly considered by the Arbitrator when making arbitration awards.

Sub – Section (6) & (7) of Section - 3G of the Act shall be taken into consideration while passing awards by the Arbitrator.
