The substance of the intention notification was published on October 26, 2025, in "Dandkarnay Samachar" (English) and "Karamkranti" (Hindi) under sub-section (3) of section 3A. Objections filed under Section 3-C were considered and settled by the Competent Authority. Subsequently, the Competent Authority submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3D. Upon receipt of this report and exercising powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government now declares that the land should be acquired and, upon publication of this notification, shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances. An example of land to be acquired is Survey/Plot Number 256/1/Ka/1 in Village Baniyagaon, Taluk Kondagaon, identified as private agriculture land with an area of 0.505 Hectares, owned by Jaylal Markam.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-26122025-268816 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5796] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2025/PAUSHA 3, 1947 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th December, 2025 S.O. 5995(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, 4734(E) Dated:17/10/2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for Raod (Widening/with paved shuolder Two-Four laning etc), Maintenance, management and operation of NH-30(Old NH-43) in the stretch of land from Km. 180.000 to Km. 241.000 (Bedma to Dahikonda Section) in the District of Kondagaon in the state of Chhattisgarh. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published on the dated 26.10.2025 in "Dandkarnay Samachar" (English) and "Karamkranti" (Hindi) ; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled the same appropriately; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
