NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th September, 2025
S.O. 4382(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, number S.O. 1611(E) dated 16th April, 2019,, the Central Government has authorized the National Highways
Authority of India to collect, either through its official or through a Contractor for the use of two-lane with paved shoulders
of Sonauli to Gorakhpur Section of National Highway No. 24 (old NH 29E) from design km. 0.000 (Existing Chainage
Km 0.000) to design km. 81.412 (Existing Chainage Km 80.000) in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956
(48 to 1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and collection) Rules, 2008, the
Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry
of Road Transport and Highways published vide S.O. 1611(E), dated 16th April, 2019 (hereinafter referred to as the "said
notification"), in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:
i.
In Table-2 under para 1 of said notification, the location of Fee Plazas at km. 11.070 and at Km 75.915 shall
stand revised as under: -

ii.
Under the Table-2 of the said notification, the sentence “the fee plazas specified in column (1) of Table 2 is
notified as temporary fee plazas, with the condition that NHAI will relocate these fee plazas in accordance
with rule 8 of the said rules within a period of two years" stands removed.
