L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-26072024-255761 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2834] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2024/SHRAVANA 4, 1946 4619 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals) ORDER New Delhi, the 26th July, 2024 S.O. 2975(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Order may be called the Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2021, after the table, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided that, nothing in this Order shall apply to the Ortho Phosphoric Acid when used as raw material in production of fertilizers."
