In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number, S.O. 3689(E), dated the 20 November, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 20 November, 2017, namely:- In the schedule to the aforesaid notification: Against serial no. 1, relating to Palma-Gumla section of NH-23 Bharatmala Project in Ranchi District – (1) The Competent Authority - District Land Acquisition Officer, Ranchi Shown in Col. No. 2 against Stretch Km. 26.000 to Km 28.800 and Km 28.800 to Km. 46.800 may be shown Competent Authority - Circle Officer, Bero, Ranchi against Stretch Km. 26.000 to Km 28.800 and Km 28.800 to Km. 46.800. Foot Note: The Principal notification was published vide S.O. No. 3689(E), dated the 20 November 2017 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 20 November, 2017.
