L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3640] NEW DELHI, THUR SDAY , AUGUST 24, 2023/ BHADRA 2, 1945 CG-DL-E-25082023-248332 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTI FICATION New Delhi, the 2 2nd August, 2023 S.O. 3 800(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (3) of section 109 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and H ighways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O.1365(E) dated the 13th December, 2004, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii), namely: - (a) In the said notification, - in Table, - (i) In serial number 8 ,for item number (d) and the entries relating thereto, the following item number and entries shall be substituted, namely: - “(d)Wheel rims fitted in all trailers and semi -trailers. IS 9438 -2018. 22nd December, 2023.” ; (ii) In serial numb er 43 , for item numbers (b), (c) and (d) and the entries relating thereto ,the following item numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely: - “(b)Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Light Alloy Wheel Rims - Method of Tests and Requirements. IS 16192 Part 1 2014. 22nd December, 2023. (c)Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Sheet Metal Wheel Rims - Method of Tests and Requirements. IS 16192 Part 2 2014. 22nd December, 2023. (d)Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Spoke Wheel Rims - Method of Tests and Requirements. IS 16192 Part 3 2018. 22nd December, 2023.” ; (b) In Table A, in serial number 6, for item number (b) and the entries relating thereto , the fol lowing item numbers and entries s hall be substituted, namely: - “(b)Wheel rims. IS 9436 -2018. 22nd December, 2023.” ; (c) In Table B ,in serial number 2, for item numbers (e), (f) and (g) and the entries relating thereto, the following item numbers and en tries shall be substituted, namely: - “(e)Automotive Vehicles Wheel Rims for Two and Three Wheeled Vehicles: Light Alloy Wheel Rims - Method of Tests and Requirements.
