Detailed Summary

This notification from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways appoints a new representative of the State Government on the Board of the Paradip Port Authority. Exercising powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, and in supersession of the Notification G.S.R. No. 729(E) dated 26th September, 2022, the Central Government appoints Shri Bidhan Chandra Ray, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department, Government of Odisha. Shri Bidhan Chandra Ray is appointed in place of Shri Sanjay Kumar Mishra, IRTS, Special Secretary, Commerce & Transport Department, Government of Odisha, as a representative of the State Government on the Board of Paradip Port Authority under Section 3(1)(c)(i) of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. This appointment takes effect immediately and shall remain in force until further orders.
