L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-24122025-268779 EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 814] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2025/AGRAHAYANA 27, 1947 FOOTWEAR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE ORDINANCE New Delhi, the 16th December, 2025 F.No. FDDI/GC/83/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 read with section 28 of the Footwear Design and Development Act. 2017 (20 of 2017), the Senate makes the following Ordinance further to amend the Footwear Design and Development Institute Ordinances, 2019, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) This Ordinance may be called the Footwear Design and Development Institute (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Footwear Design and Development Institute Ordinances, 2019, in clause 5, in sub-clause (1),- (i) in item (A), for sub-items (c) and (d), the following item shall be substituted, namely: - "(c) School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects." (ii) after item (B), the following item shall be inserted, namely:- "(BA) A candidate holding three-year full-time or distance or online diploma, after class 10, offered by the All India Council for Technical Education or the Board of Technical Education of any State Government or Union territory administration, shall be eligible for lateral entry into the second year to the Bachelor's Programmes.".
