In pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby notifies that Amendments to Indian standards, particulars of which are given in schedule hereto annexed have been established.

The Bureau of Indian Standards, under the Department of Consumer Affairs, issued a notification (Ref: HQ-PUB015/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1238)) dated 20th May, 2025, in accordance with Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018. The notification establishes amendments to several Indian Standards listed in the annexed schedule. Amendment No. 2 to IS 16076: 2013 (IEC 61975: 2010) for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Installations - System Tests was established on 19th May 2025. Amendment No. 1 to IS 18322 (Part 1): 2023 (IEC 62751-1: 2014 + AMD 1: 2018) for Power Losses in Voltage Sourced Converter (VSC) Valves (Part 1 General Requirements) was established on 19th May 2025. Amendment No. 1 to IS 18322 (Part 2): 2023 (IEC 62751-2: 2014 + AMD 1: 2019) for Power Losses in Voltage Sourced Converter (VSC) Valves (Part 2 Modular Multilevel Converters) was established on 19th May 2025. Amendment No. 1 to IS 18324: 2023 (IEC 62927: 2017) for Voltage Sourced Converter (VSC) Valves for Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) Electrical Testing was established on 19th May 2025. For all these standards, the standard without the respective amendment will remain in force until 18th November 2025.
