The notification also specifies that previous standards, namely IS 6499-1971, IS 15596 (Part 7): 2016, IS 16602 (Part 3): 2017, IS/IEC 61439-3: 2012, and IS/IEC 61439-4: 2012, will remain in force concurrently until their withdrawal date of September 17, 2026.
