L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-24032025-261889 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 152] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MARCH 24, 2025/CHAITRA 3, 1947 MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS (DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS) NOTIFICAION New Delhi, the 24th March, 2025 G.S.R. 187(E).โ€” In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Assistant (TA) Group โ€˜C' Post Recruitment Rules, 2024, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Assistant Group 'C' Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Assistant Group โ€˜C' Post Recruitment Rules, 2024, in the Schedule, (i) for the existing entry under column (7) the following shall be substituted, namely: - โ€œMinimum three years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications or Electronics or Electrical or Electronics and Communications or Computer Science or Information Technology or Cyber Security and Big Data Analysis or Internet of Things (IoT) or Instrumentation from a recognised Institute or University; or Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University or Institute. Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Staff Selection Commission or Competent Authority in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified." (ii) for the entry under column (10) the following shall be substituted, namely: - "100% by Direct Recruitment through Staff Selection Commission failing which by deputation (including short-term contract)."
