DRAFT RULES 1. Short Title and co mmencement. -(1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (……Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, in sub-rule (9) of r ule 115A, in Table 2, in the heading “Applicable with effect from”, for the words and figures, “1st April, 2024” the words and figures “1st April, 2026” shall be substituted.
