L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3998] NEW DELHI, THURS DAY , SEPTEMBER 21, 2023/ BHADRA 30, 1945 CG-DL-E-23092023-248929 1 2 3 4 5 6 42/2C [फा. सं NHAI/11018/LA/PIU -Kozhikode/Amended(3a)/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st September, 2023 S.O. 41 66(E)—Whereas by the notifi cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, 2259 Dated:23/05/2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub - section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National High way Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said not ification for building (widening/four -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH66 in the stretch of land from Km. 260 to Km. 349.565 (municipal Community hall post Kottakkal) in the district of MALAPPURAM in the state of KERALA ; And wherea s the substance of the said notification has been published in“Mathrubhumi” and “The Hindu” both dated Newspaper Date ;11/06/2023 under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considere d and disallowed by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the co mpetent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
