NHAI -HQ/11013/01/2011 -LA/Notif/PIU -Thanjavur/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st August, 2023 S.O. 3707(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O.2078(E) Dated:03.05.2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary No. 1990, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (her einafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH45C in the stretch of land from Km. 80.400 to Km. 100.000 in the district of Ariyalur in the State of TAMIL NADU ; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published both in “Thinathandhi” and “The Hindu” dated 20.05.2023 under sub -section ( 3) of section 3A of the said Act; And Whereas No objection have been received from the land owner or Interested person by the Competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Competent Authority has subm itted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares tha t the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Offi cial Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
