NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st August, 2023
S.O. 3 697(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Governmen t of India in the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways, , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section
(ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1 956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act),Vide S.O. No.4317(E) dated 14th September 2022 , the Central Government
declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for
construction of (Wid ening two / four laning etc,) Main tenance, management and operation
of NH731A (RAM VAN GAMAN PATH) on the stretch of land from Km 0.000 to Km 35.000 ( competent
authority/ Chief Revenue Officer, Pratapgarh ) in the district of PRATAPGARH in the state of UTTA R
PRADESH .
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Amar ujala ” and
“Times of India ” both dated 17th September 2022 ; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas no objections have been received from any person by the competent authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent
authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, theref ore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority an d in exercise of the
powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acqu ired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of su b-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said
Schedule s hall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all enc umbrances.
