The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) notifies amendments to five Indian Standards, detailed in the schedule. These amendments cover standards for Cold Rolled Grain Oriented Electrical Steel Strip and Sheet (IS 3024: 2015, Amendment No. 3), Welding Rods and Bare Electrodes for Gas Shielded Arc Welding of Structural Steels (IS 6419: 1996, Amendment No. 2), Cold-Rolled Medium, High Carbon and Low Alloy Steel Strip (IS 7226: 1974, Amendment No. 1), Acesulfame Potassium, Food Grade (IS 15970: 2013, Amendment No. 1), and Criteria for Structural Safety of Tall Concrete Buildings (IS 16700: 2023, Amendment No. 1). All amendments were established on 14 January 2025 and will remain in force until 13 July 2025.
