In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following amendment to the Lauric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2022, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Order may be called the Lauric Acid (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Lauric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub- paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025". In the Acid Oil (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025". In the Palm Fatty Acids (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025". In the Rice Bran Fatty Acids (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025". In the Coconut Fatty Acids (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025”. In the Hydrogenated Rice Bran Fatty Acids (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) This order shall come into force on the 24th day of April, 2025”.
