L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-22082024-256554 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3227] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2024/SHRAVANA 30, 1946 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th August, 2024 S.O.3543 (E). — in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) read with Rule 3 of the National Highway Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, the Central Government, by notification number S.O.3132 (E) dated 15th September, 2020, has authorised the National Highways Authority of India to levy and collect fee on mechanical vehicles for the use of section from Km 486/500 to Km 499/500 (Kollam Bypass Section) of National Highway No. 66 (Old No. NH 47) in the State of Kerala. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, the Central Government hereby exempts the user fee collection for the project stretch under notification number S.O.3132 (E) dated 15th September, 2020. Accordingly, previous notification number S.O.3132 (E) dated 15th September, 2020 for user fee collection on subject stretch stands rescinded till further notification is published for the said section of National Highway as mentioned in paragraph-1 above.
