Short title, commencement and application:-(1) These rules may be called the Land Acquisition(Special Railway Projects)(Amendment) Rules, 2024. 2. In the Land Acquisition( Special Railway Projects) Rules, 2016,- (i) in rule 4, in sub-rule(2), for the words "a nationalized bank", the words and brackets "a Scheduled commercial bank(Public and Private) notified from time to time by the Reserve Bank of India as Agency bank", shall be substituted; (ii) in rule 5, in sub-rule(1), for the words "a nationalized bank", the words and brackets "a Scheduled commercial bank (Public and Private) notified from time to time by the Reserve Bank of India as Agency bank", shall be substituted.
