NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st April, 2026
S.O. 1987(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 8 of the Pre-conception
and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act of 1994, the Central Government hereby makes
the following further amendments in the Notification No. S.O. 85 (E), dated 5th February, 1997, issued by Government
of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, namely:
2. In the said notification,under heading "appointed under clause (e) of sub-section (2) of Section 7" for serial
number 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:
