NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st February, 2025
S.O. 946(E). In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed hereto as the competent Authority to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of the Notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Km.
528.500 to Km. 587+600 of the Greenfield Access Control Expressway from Varanasi to Kolkata in the State of West
Bengal for development (4/6 laning), maintenance management & operation under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-ll (Lot-
9 Package-3) as specified in the schedule given below:

Acquisition of land for development of 4/6 lane (Greenfield) Access Control Expressway from Varanasi to Kolkata
from Km 528+500 to Km 587+600 under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-ll in the State of West Bengal.
