CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi, the 20th August, 2025
S.O. 3822(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in notification of the government
of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O. 4934 (E) dated 14.11.2024 for the work of Widening
of existing 2 lane to 4 lane with paved shoulder including strengthening of carriageway from Km 80/0-Km 125/0 of
Salem Tirupathur - Vaniyambadi Road of NH-179A in the state of Tamil Nadu published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (II),14.11.2024 namely:-
In the schedule to the principal notification number S.O. 4744(E) dated 06.10.2022, against serial no. 1 in
column 2 for the entry "Special District Revenue Officer (LA), NHAI, Vellore" the entry "Special District Revenue
Officer, Land Acquisition, National Highways, Vellore" shall be substituted.
Foot Note: The principal notification was published vide number S.O.4744(E) dated 06.10.2022 in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part -II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), dated 06.10.2022, subsequent Amendments were
published vide Gazette No. S.O. 1028 (E) dated 01.03.2023 & Gazette No. S.O. 4934(E) dated 14.11.2024.
