L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3529] NEW DEL HI, MON DAY , AUGUST 21, 2023/ SHRAVANA 30, 1945 CG-DL-E-21082023-248196 MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (Department of Higher Education ) NOTIFICATION New D elhi, the 17th August, 2023 S.O. 3689(E).—In pursuance of sub -clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub -section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (as amended) read with rule 5 of th e Aadhaar Auth entication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, having been authorized by the Central Government, hereby notifies that the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Del hi is allowed to perform Aadhaar authentication, on a voluntary basis, for authenticating residents, using Yes / No authentication facility, for the following purposes; (a) Establishing the identity of Architects for registration, publishing onlin e directory and release of award/ prize money in competitions; (b) Authentication of identity of students for examination, enrolment, grant of scholarship, prize money; The Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi shall adhere to the Guidelines with r espect to use of Aadhaar authentication as laid down by the Central Government.
