The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, through Notification S.O. 2769(E) dated 17th June, 2025, announces the authorization of Shri Abhay Singh Chauhan, Operations Manager, M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Limited, to perform the functions of Competent Authority. This appointment is made in pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962). Shri Chauhan replaces Shri Ashish Kumar, Assistant Manager (Operations & Maintenance), M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Limited, for the Dadri - Panipat Natural Gas Pipeline project of M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Limited in the State of Haryana. The notification, issued under F. No. L-14014/5/2021-GP-II (E-47655) and signed by RAMJI LAL MEENA, Under Secretary, specifies that this authorization is effective from the date of its issue.
