In exercise of powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways No. S.O.1624 (E) dated the 28th September, 2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), dated the 28rd September, 2006 and corrigendum as follows: [a] for the words “Revenue Divisional officer, Kulithalai”, the words "The Special District Revenue officer, LA, National Highways, Erode" shall be substituted.
