In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government of India hereby authorizes Shri Rishabh Verma, Deputy Collector, Government of Uttar Pradesh in place of Shri Praveen Yadav, Deputy Collector, Government of Uttar Pradesh to perform the functions of Competent Authority under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, on deputation basis, for all Gas Pipeline Projects of M/s GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Uttar Pradesh for a period of Three Years.
